[01:07] <+MidnightPyro> Kier, have you been online for 2+ hours?
[01:07] <+MidnightPyro> I hope this doesn't disprove my theory :)
[01:07] <+Nick0r> is kier the vb project manager?
[01:07] <+Nick0r> i forgot ;p
[01:08] * chopper is angry
[01:08] <+MidnightPyro> I have no clue, but whenever Kier is online for 2+ hours straight, a new version is coming :p
[01:08] <+Nick0r> gonna buy a hivemail license in a sec
[01:08] <+Nick0r> ;p
[01:08] <@floris> hi chopper
[01:08] <@Kier> we're working through a few problems that have cropped up in some of the new classes but it's coming out okay
[01:08] <@Kier> i've been online for about 10 mins so far
[01:08] <+MidnightPyro> heh
[01:09] <+MidnightPyro> Gotta be better than vBulletin 3 final...
[01:09] <+MidnightPyro> when there was an entire thread about what you were doing on the forum :p
[01:09] <@Kier> that was kinda mad
[01:09] <@floris> The question is just when i guess.
[01:09] <+Nick0r> Kier: is 3.1 coming?
[01:09] <+Nick0r> ;o
[01:09] <@Kier> 3.1? no.

[01:10] <+Nick0r> 3.0.4?
[01:10] <+Nick0r> pls dont release an update, i like it how it is ;)
[01:10] <+MidnightPyro> I think that could've been sarcasm
[01:10] <+MidnightPyro> heh
[01:10] <+Nick0r> there should be a discount for vb license holders when buying hivemail
[01:10] <+Nick0r> tbh
[01:10] <@Kier> let's just say that the next release is going to make the hacking community very happy
[01:10] <+MidnightPyro> eheh
[01:10] <+Nick0r> oooh
[01:10] <+Nick0r> why!
[01:10] <+MidnightPyro> oooooooooooooooooh

[01:10] <+Nick0r> well yes and no
[01:10] <+MidnightPyro> It all makes sense now!
[01:10] <+Nick0r> because we gotta reinstall all our hacks kier
[01:10] <+Nick0r> :p
[01:11] <+MidnightPyro> :p
[01:11] <+Nick0r> i wont upgrade if you release a new V
[01:11] <@Kier> because if i was still hacking vB, the stuff we're putting in is what I would want to be using :)
[01:11] <+Nick0r> i can't be arsed
[01:11] <+MidnightPyro> Maybe someone liked my idea
[01:11] <+FiRe27> thats great kier
[01:11] <+MidnightPyro> about my modular hack system thingy for vBulletin
[01:11] <+MidnightPyro> probably something completly different, but
[01:11] <+Nick0r> Kier: the hacking community as in the hackers or the people who install hacks/
[01:11] <@Kier> both
[01:11] <+FiRe27> nick probably both
[01:11] <+MidnightPyro> heh
[01:11] <+Nick0r> k

[01:12] <+MidnightPyro> This is almost enough incentive to learn PHP
[01:12] <+FiRe27> yea nick
[01:12] <+MidnightPyro> Nick0r, I think I've gone 2.5 years without that much activity
[01:12] <+Nick0r> heh

[01:13] * +Kura re (dinner! yes, it's 10:45 pm, hush *eats*)
[01:13] <+FiRe27> whats going on with vb and php5 is it moving to the new php ver or staying with 4 for awhile?
[01:14] <@Kier> this version is php 4.1+
[01:15] <@Kier> but we are now starting to look seriously at php5
[01:15] <+Nick0r> PHP 4.3.9-1 (cli) (built: Oct 5 2004 08:45:32)
[01:15] <+Nick0r> phew
[01:15] <@Kier> for a release at a future date
[01:15] <+Nick0r> nooo
[01:15] <+Nick0r> you can't go to php5 until debian releases it as stable or at least testing
[01:15] <+Nick0r> :p
[01:16] <@Kier> vB3.x will still be PHP 4.1+
[01:16] <+FiRe27> thats good then
[01:16] <+FiRe27> nick who hosts on deb anyhow/
[01:16] <+Nick0r> me
[01:16] <+Nick0r> debian is godlike
[01:16] <+MidnightPyro> Kier, would vBulletin using PHP 5 be an advantage or a disadvantage?
[01:17] <@DarkSSJ3> ah
[01:17] <@DarkSSJ3> Kier
[01:17] * @DarkSSJ3 bows and worships
[01:17] <@Kier> right now it doesn't make a lot of difference
[01:17] <+MidnightPyro> lol
[01:17] <@Hobbierz> :) hi Kier
[01:17] <@Kier> but we have been looking at some of the OOP stuff in PHP5 and we really want to use it in future code
[01:18] <+Kura> wow
[01:18] <+Kura> it's a Kier
[01:18] <+Kura> hi Kier
[01:18] <+MidnightPyro> everyone comes alive with kier comes, heh
[01:18] <@Kier> here's a hint for hackers btw...
[01:18] <@Kier> LEARN PHP4 OOP ARCHITECHTURE AND DESIGN PATTERNS
[01:18] <+FiRe27> wow guess thats more than a hint ;)
