As you have probably guessed from the title of this thread, we have decided to put out a third release candidate for vBulletin 3 rather than progressing straight to the gold release.
RC2 has been a great success, and almost all the bugs we are seeing now are trivial, and certainly not show-stoppers. A lot of these little niggles have been fixed and hopefully RC3 will see a small enough trickle of new bugs that we can proceed to Gold. (although of course, if lots of bugs are found in RC3 we may well need to progress through RC4 first...)
Right now we feel that enough bugs have been fixed from RC2 to make an RC3 release worthwhile and timely, so we will be putting RC3 in the members' area early next week.
In the meantime, a quick status update on what else is going on.
The graphics are being finalized
The manual is being put together
The Admin CP inline help is being finished
... and all the other stuff you'd expect when a product is to go to its stable release state in the very near future.
